Wingspan: Bird Packs Season Pass is a set of six regional Bird Packs that gradually expand the Wingspan experience with new bird cards, unique powers, and exclusive player portraits from around the world. The Bird Packs will be released over the course of time. This is the first Bird Packs Season Pass for Wingspan. Each pack, designed by Wingspan fans, adds 25 beautiful bird cards with unique powers connected to a different part of the world, along with an exclusive player portrait. These are the Bird Packs that expand Wingspan's wildlife preserve with new birds from regions featured in the game: 1. Wingspan Bird Pack: British Birds 2. Wingspan Bird Pack: Additional Asian Avians 3. Wingspan Bird Pack: Birds of Continental Europe 4. Wingspan Bird Pack: Birds of the U.S.A. 5. Wingspan Bird Pack: Birds of Canada 6. Wingspan Bird Pack: Birds of New Zealand Every Bird Pack included in this Season Pass contains: - 25 new bird cards from the featured region, with unique abilities allowing for new combos and strategies - 1 new, exclusive player portrait to be used for your in-game player profile With the Bird Packs and the Season Pass, the players can grow their collection over time and enjoy even more variety in their avian flock.

History

When the board game was released in 2019, it took the world by storm. To the point that Golden Geek Awards rules needed to be adjusted, because Wingspan won half of the categories. When we reached out to Jamey Stegmaier - the publisher - in January 2019, this was still yet to happen, but we’ve heard enough about the concept to jump head-first into creating its digital counterpart. This version not only preserves the original’s look and feel, but builds upon it to enhance the relaxing experience. The birds now sing with their real life sounds and interesting pieces of information are available on each and every species in the game. The goal to create something special, based on the original, is what;s been driving us from the very beginning. Wingspan turned out to be a hit - it was a very inspiring project for us, and also a commercial success. Soon the award winning European Expansion will come to digital and we suspect it won't be our last word in this beautiful, fascinating world of birds.
