Wyrmspan is an engine-building, card-driven strategy game for 1 to 5 players. Play as an amateur dracologist discovering a world of dragons. Excavate caves and explore your sanctuary. Entice dragons and chain their abilities to create powerful combos.

Play solo against the Automa, test your skills with bot opponents, gather friends for local multiplayer, or face fellow dracologists from around the world in online matchmaking.

History

After Wingspan, Wyrmspan is the second game in the "Span" series. It takes you - a novice dragon researcher - on a journey to a world of mysterious hidden caverns and extraordinary dragons, introducing new layers of strategy for aspiring dracologists to master. It’s a standalone strategy card game that feels familiar to Wingspan, but introduces new mechanics and lore to explore.

Features

• EXCAVATE. Build your sanctuary in the Crimson Cavern, the Golden Grotto, and the Amethyst Abyss. Play cave cards to open new spaces and excavate deeper, making room for more dragons.
• ENTICE DRAGONS. Entice over 180 dragons, each with their own nature and behavior, to live in your sanctuary. Play tiny hatchlings that reward you over time, or adult dragons wielding powerful abilities. Study dragon facts to become an expert dracologist!
• EXPLORE. Explore your sanctuary and venture deep into your caves to chain dragon abilities into powerful combos. The deeper you go and the more dragons and cave cards you play, the greater the rewards you’ll get!
• FIND YOUR STRATEGY. Shape your strategy each turn, with every cavern and dragon card you play. Build your engine by enticing dragons, managing your resources, or progressing on the Dragon Guild board. Adapt to the circumstances and play smart to claim victory!
